Darkness Births SaviorsMy enemy
The dark the shadow
Imperious and cunning,
Foisting and lying.
Of dominance, of power,
The thief and the cad
The tyrant, and foul, the demon,
Of my destruction.
The burn of the flame,
The pierce of the dagger,
And the thin and obscuring shroud
A fog that surrounds us
The venom and the dart,
The tempter of heart,
And the silent deadly serpent
An absence of light,
Blinds me of my compassion
It is death yet mighty,
This murky swift fall.
The invisible cliff,
Just that one step away
An endless inner call,
That strikes at me tirelessly,
And elicits gradually my strength
I thought once to be so powerful
Yet it distorted such florid gleams
The pain, the regret, the suppression,
And the destroyer of my humility
Whom brought down such Titans,
That were to my defense
Obliterated those suave moments,
And destroys passion in seconds
Those Gods whom submit,
To any whom knock at the doo
Moments in Hell
In life the moments come that everyone dreads,
When Hell breaks loose and you stand alone.
The Earth shook and the buildings crumbled on both sides,
And the white dust rose in thick threads to the skies.
Screams sounded from all directions
In pain, in terror, and in utter dark fear.
"O God hast thou fled from me?"
The sun burns down oblivious of my peril.
I rush home among thousands of people, some call for me,
Screaming in agony for me to come to there aid.
It takes almost a day yet I stand at the threshold of my home,
My feet are coated in blood and I am shaking.
I tremble and quake as I fall to my knees,
The pile of rubble before me rises above.
"O God please help me!"
I am small, but I dig into the night.
When morning comes I have only a little strength,
I thirst, and I am hungry, and my vision is growing increasingly blurry.
Then as I begin to give in to the hold of despair,
I hear a shout from the depths below my little progress.
"I'm here! Thank God you have fou
Life and DoorsAs we continue through life,
we realize it is only a series of doors,
in every direction they stand obscure,
and those opened echo ever more.
At each moment one opens,
and entrance is gained,
and whether we see good behind it,
matters nothing compared to inevitable disdain.
Goodness thrives greater,
than that compared to others,
yet through few we find refuge,
sanctuaries past times when we blunder.
Then behind those that seem so right,
can come the greatest of agony,
of which blinds us of hope,
causing such despair of immensity.
But then we pass by and live on,
for those great which are few.
Those of which reward us after trial,
and broadens our resilience through.
Life, it is only a series of doors.
We murmur or back down,
or we stand stalwart and brave,
dwelling in long term peace ever more.
Dream Sealed with a Kiss- AnonI give a smile and you do the same,
sitting next to each other in peace.
The warmness of the moment arrives,
and feelings slowly start to connect.
Delicately and lovingly you take my hands,
you carefully place them on your heart.
Your heartbeats come in a happy rhythm,
we continue to smile from each other's touch.
There's a slight change in movement,
you have placed one hand of mine upon your soft face.
Whispers remain unheard,
but our smiles continue to gleam.
Moments in time take time to pass,
and the next thing to happen involved words.
Taking a pen in orange ink,
you write something on your left hand.
Minutes later you show me the words,
simply written is "I LOVE YOU".
You smile at me in the happiest way,
and then you start to lean into me.
Ever so slowly I close my eyes,
then I can suddenly touch something upon my mouth.
There's a slight release and I open my eyes,
you're stroking my cheek, telling me to relax.
I glance down and then back up at your face,
glimmering eyes continue
The Sun's Silver StreamsThe rippling moonlight
entrances, of us, many.
The calm beauty that it rains down,
shines as an endless crystal sea.
The sun burns bright,
scotching life every day.
To gaze into its depths
we would be blinded.
Then in the dark of the sky,
after the sun's disappearance,
comes the silver light of the moon,
the glory of the sun reflected.
That life giving light and glory of Heaven,
that God above and life giving sphere,
even in night are we reminded,
of it's overpowering brightness.
Without the Moon's presence,
the night would come bleak,
it would linger forever longer around us,
and the surety of next's day would stray.
But the Moon lives on regardless,
and thus we glimpse such comfort,
that on the morrow the sun will burn brightly,
and the ascension to grace has not been in vain.
Soul FireWithin me it burns,
a flame I've naught to see before,
And through my being it spreads,
As an unconquerable horde.
I awake at dawn feel it go on,
And when I feel that cold, dark, inner pity,
I stand with unprecedented strength,
And overcoming becomes less mighty.
For the emotions I thought,
never I would see,
Just one single unexpected soul,
Has provided the least to me.
That one soul whom came,
And went on through the dark,
Whom raised me from that inner agony,
And brought such an arc.
That pulled me from such a descent,
Whom inculcated that jubilation,
And tirelessly sought to create those sparks,
That engulfed within me that strengthening flame,
The fire of such a passion that cannot be named.
The Price of a DreamFor any price I'd pay to be there, with you in my arms,
to feel your gentle comforting embrace.
I awaken and I lay to rest and I think of all the moments we've had,
And all the times surrounded in the murky depths of what is to come.
The sun rises on that silver sheet, and then sets in the ripples of a golden end,
And I watch and I wait in silence with patience for that day so far.
The stars and the moon revolve with the world, changing,
And I stand, but one soul, one challenged soul
and wonder if that light will come again,
or if tonight is the night when it all will end.
If tonight is the night was the end and all was as it is,
In the state of regret of an unfinished tale,
At the climax of some great formation,
That brought me from that low, dark Hell
And then I awaken and wonder if it all was a dream,
That passed with such a melody of beauty I have never seen.
I slunk back and hold my hands to my face,
And pray for some divine grace.
I pray that it was not all a d
My Guiding LightEverything you say, everything we do together,
brings me closer to find the one meaning of true happiness.
Being alone with you brings every moment to life,
everlasting memories start to develop in our hearts.
People always mention the firsts that "everyone" experiences,
but I didn't think I would ever experience any.
Before I met you or even talked to you,
I thought I'd remain alone forever because no-one seemed to care.
As I got acquanited with who you are,
I realized I had started to feel certain things around you.
Now as time passes by,
I have come into the perspective that you're my new guiding light.
My life has made a turn for the better,
simply being with you has shown the world who I really am.
I now know that I will always love and care about you,
even if we do take our seperate roads one day.
At this moment in time,
I can see myself being with you for awhile.
Honestly I think we could if we wanted,
but I don't think it's wise to look far into the future.
There is one thing a
